PROJECT BACKGROUND
SYSTEM IN BRIEF
The wastewater streams are collected in a baffled raw sewage collection tank from where it is pumped to an overhead Buffer Tank for providing a constant gravity flow of raw sewage feed to the rejuWATER® modules. The outlet (treated water) from the bottom of the modules is then used directly or polished further, depending on the use case.

OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
The wastewater treatment plant is operated and maintained by the trained gardener of the premises. A regular daily schedule is followed for maintenance, like checking of sewer line systems, removal of sludge from modules (if any) and regular harvesting of plants.
Cost incurred per month for operation and maintenance is approximately ₹25,000/-
REUSE OPTIONS

Influent quality : BOD: 300 to 600 mg/L, COD: 600 to 800 mg/L.

Sludge can be transformed into good manure through composting.
